An absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish!! Service was friendly and attentive and the food… OMG!! We had the chicken strips to start and the steak sandwich for main. The chicken was so tender and flavourful and the steak sandwich is hands down the best we have EVER had!! Talk about gormet!! Just visiting from Australia but will desperately try to get back here before we leave!
Fantastic, friendly hosts Jessie, Joe, Megan, Aya and Olivia were SUPER! 6 of us had a gorgeous meal at the Pelican and we were well catered for as 4 of us are vegan and it was absolutely no trouble for the team. Seriously delicious pies! Jessie and Joe were especially fantastic 👏 give these guys a raise 🫶
Lovely Hotel staff are very nice and professional. Food was stunning very etiquette. professionally cooked professionally made. the Hotel rooms are decent really enjoyed my stay with all the blueberry muffins you have provided. has really kept me going. I would recommend you have a mix up with them haha! I love how the place has a very classic vintage theme to it very nice really goes well with the food/style. kept so clean and tidy! thank you for looking after us. even provided us with electric radiators when the boiler went down. thank you so much - Plumber R.J.C
Our recent visit to Pelican Inn left us truly impressed and utterly satisfied. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional – warm, welcoming, and attentive. It set the perfect tone for what was to come. Now, let's talk about the food. It was nothing short of a culinary delight! Each dish we savored was a masterpiece in flavor and presentation. The chefs here clearly have a passion for their craft, and it shines through in every bite. From appetizers to dessert, every course was a delightful journey for our taste buds. The attention to detail and use of fresh, quality ingredients were evident in every dish. Kudos to the entire team at Pelican for creating such a memorable dining experience. We left with full hearts and satisfied palates. If you're looking for a place to indulge in top-notch cuisine and impeccable service, look no further. We'll definitely be returning for more exquisite meals!
I've now visited the Pelican Inn twice, both times for evening meals. The food has been excellent both times and all of my party, including two tweens, has enjoyed their meals. The menu is extensive with plenty of pub favourites and they have a good kids menu too. The ale selection is not huge but I've always found something I enjoy, which is good enough for me. It's got plenty of tables but, on our experience, does get busy so we would definitely book in advance. We will definitely return.
