Such a cosy place. Bar man very friendly and dog cute
The music on open mic was great.. nice pint of ale.. friendly people. We loved the open fire and sat with family having food and playing games Quiz night was also fun
The real fire was very welcome on a chilly October evening. Service was friendly and efficient and the beer pretty good. The decor was a bit unusual with some autumnal theme but also a helmet, from a suit of armour, and an axe just lying on a shelf. I didn't feel the need to fight my way out so we've survived to write another review or two. There were two televisions showing different sports. I found it interesting that the rugby had sound but the football, featuring the Welsh team, did not; I guess that's the passion for the game showing through.
Lovely little Welsh pub,Rich was a great bartender! Good selection of beer and spirits.
Nice pub! Richard is very friendly and provides fine pizza's if you are hungry after a few days of hiking. He poured also a good pint of ale. I stayed at Dina's camp site below in the valley.
