We went there with my husband, sister in law and brother in law at lunchtime. The atmosphere, service and food were truly amazing and we would definitely return, but sadly we were flying back home the next day. Well worth a visit for lunch the young lad was very polite and very efficient as was the Gentleman. We have told our families this is a must though 🏴🏴🏴🇦🇺🇦🇺🏴🏴🏴
We had a meal last night while celebrating our friends Golden Wedding. Good was excellent and service was first .
Here for a golden wedding reception. First class service from friendly and efficient staff. Amazing quality of food. All 15 mains served simultaneously with every diner getting exactly what was ordered. My venison dish was absolutely delicious. My Panmure chocolate cake was to die for. Amazing dining experience in this little Angus town. This was truly a 5 star dining experience. Wonderful!
We windswept travellers were looking for a well-earned pint and some food after an event day outdoors.. sadly, they didn't open till four. We eagerly came in at five (after finding solace in the hotel bar down the road). The bar was empty, but we were very kindly greeted, and the young lad who served us made us feel very welcome. I ordered fish and chips (sadly only whole and not mushy peas), but it tasted like proper fresh chippy fish and chips, which is great. My boyfriend ordered some kind of peppercorn meat stack with the same chips. He was satisfied but I think it was expensive and I really wish they offered mashed and boiled/roasted potatoes. And maybe some fresh steamed veggies. Also, the steak part of his stack was not offered to be cooked to his preference. Ah well.
We chose the Panmure hotel to have our daughters wedding meal and evening reception very recently and we could not have made a better choice. From our first appointment with David last year up to the wedding on Friday he could not have been any more helpful. The wedding meal was first class and all the guests commented how fantastic it was. The evening buffet was astounding and again fantastic feedback from the guests saying that it was the best buffet they had ever had. The guests that stayed overnight had such a fantastic stay and breakfast. Once again we would like to thank David and his team for such a memorable day and would highly recommend Panmure Hotel Edzell.
