Lovely pub, staff very friendly, great atmosphere, I would highly recommend a visit.
Stopped over as part of cycling coast to coast. Friendly staff & locals, no food however options in the village (fish & chips, pizza other pubs). We had an Indian take away which pub let’s eat in with a pint! Bike storage available and room was comfort and shower was hot. Much needed after our ride. Cereal, fruit & toast available and a warm & friendly welcome at breakfast. Thank you for having us.
Not a bad little place however the beer garden need a total makeover. Sun trap but scruffy. All could go with a spruce up.
Absolutely amazing place, great landlord / landlady, who are truly wonderful. The regulars are very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back and definitely recommend visiting to anyone going to Stanhope
