Stopped off for a bite of lunch while exploring the area and went back for dinner. Food was good, I especially enjoyed the pudding. Dog friendly in the bar and moose enjoyed the 2 dog biscuits he was offered. Staff were very friendly and warm and the building looked fascinating.
What a wonderful welcome from the owners. Really welcoming, great pint of Jail Ale and lovely food. Much needed after a very cold and windy walk!
Had a lovely Christmas lunch service with the research group. Had the prawn cocktail and the roast pork. Pork was quite tender and the gravy is good. Brussel sprouts are exceptionally well cooked
Just 10 mins outside A30 this amazing pub delivered great service and amazing food to us, was the perfect way to finish our journey home to Cornwall. The perfect atmosphere was set by Christmas decorations and a fireplace. Clean and well maintained site! Our waiter on 23.11.2023 Sunday 12 noon was very polite, friendly and informative. Thanks !
We travel far to visit and always have a wonderful evening in here when visiting the village carnival. Always a lovely atmosphere, real ciders, and ales on tap. Have been before and will return again. A great live trio there this time who sang lovely sing a long music for everyone to enjoy..
