Lovely staff and lovely friendly people in here. Would highly recommend if you fancy a proper pint in a traditional pub
Argyle on tour! Up at 4am to catch the train.....6hr journey. Lovely little pub with real ale. Welcoming landlord and lo and behold already a bunch of Argyle cronies in residence! Went in again after the match to drown my sorrows. What a game....but we lost 2 - 1....
I love this traditional pub! Absolutely stunning. The staff are friendly. Great place to go if you want somewhere quiet to have a drink and a talk as there is no music.
Canny little bar, called in on the way to the Preston vs Sunderland game. Samuel Smith bar so none of your normal beers and lagers. I had the medium strength lager. There were no complaints from the rest of the lads. Prices are low too so well worth a dodge in ππΊπΊ
Dirt cheap beer - their mild is a blessing at Β£1.37. and it's decent too. Haven't tried the light mild. Phones and laptops etc are banned in here for a good reason - have a conversation. There's no music/jukebox just people and conversation. Staff are excellent too. Note: take cash as they don't take cards.
