The Old Red Lion in Litchborough is run by a local farming family, and feature 'the butchers block restaurant' that shows off food produced on their farm in the village. The pub sells local real ale and has a fireplace!
Re-opened in 2010, we are a family run, friendly pub with a great atmosphere. We are very proud to produce much of the ingredients used in our food, on our farm in the village.
We serve classic pub food, 6 days a week (not on Mondays) at great prices and offer something for everyone. Pop in for a quiet drink or a special occasion - we look forward to seeing you!.
Friendly village pub with good meals and snacks. We held a social in their function room: staff were energetic & professional. Tasty range of buffet items.

What can I say, we turned up late on a Sunday night after a bike ride and they opened the kitchen and cooked us food, me scampi and chips and my girlfriend fish and chips. Never had a pub don't this before and so grateful. We were outside on the tables so didn't get the chance to really see inside aside apart from when ordering but was friendly inside, locals with dogs seemed happy to chat. Would recommend.
We were looking for a pub for lunch and stumbled across this one. Typical pub food, to a good standard, friendly service and good beer. No complaints at all from us. Seemed popular with locals as well

At The Old Red Lion we use locally farmed/sourced produce whenever possible. We offer our classic menu and run a changing specials board along side it. Our pies are 'proper pies' with a top and bottom and are made on the premises. Our quiches and desserts are all homemade.
