We stopped off here for Sunday Roast and it didn’t disappoint!! The meal was delicious we also had apple crumble for pudding, it’s was delicious!! We were served by friendly faces and had a lovely time!!
Called in here for a meal as a party of two. We opted for the haggis, tatties and neeps. Mind. Blown. If you need carbs, look no further as this mountain of food has them by the bucketload. Having been the only time I have ever eaten haggis, I haven't a clue if it was good or bad, but it tasted nice. The potatoes and swede were quite tasty though. The building itself is charming and the staff were nice and friendly. We'd happily go back after another long day hiking.
Small, clean and friendly. Cosy place. Kind staff, prepared a breakfast for us when we had to leave earlier than the breakfast started. Good value for money.
Had an enjoyable 3 nights stay at the Old Rectory. On arrival received a warm friendly welcome from Amelia who took us to our clean, comfortable bed room. The food was amazing both at dinner and breakfast with a varied choice. Cooked to perfection, by the owners, served hot and using good quality local produce. The price was excellent value for money. The entertainment was enjoyable. Locals in the well appointed bar were friendly. Car parking was good. Location was superb for walking into Callander and touring around. This is a well run family business. Thank you to Tim, Amelia and all the hard working staff.
A lovely atmosphere in this small town pub. The Sunday lunch was great value for money for 3 courses. The owners were spot on. There was a singing duo in the afternoon and the locals welcomed everyone in. A great afternoon.
