At the Craft Union Pub Company, our philosophy is about bringing really quality pubs back in the heart of local communities.
We believe pubs play a vital role in the lives of their customers and we are committed to nurturing this. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our Operators, supporting them as they practice their craft of running outstanding pubs. For us, they are our local heroes.
A friendly little pub with very reasonably priced drinks. Dated but with excellent service.
What a great pub, warm, welcoming and a great pint of Guinness.
Was visiting from the States this week, stumbled upon The Old Oak in search of a place I could watch Monday’s London Derby. As only one of two people that admitted to being a Spurs fan, I felt comfortable in vocalizing my support. The drinks were well priced and the service was fantastic. If anyone reading this was there Monday, please tell my fellow Tottenham supporter I’m sorry I didn’t make it for Wednesday. I will look for him next year🙂
The best pub to cone and drink. 2 pint one Moretaine and a Heineken £9. Best
We stayed at a nearby airbnb and found this spot where I had my first Old Mout Cider. As others have noted, Mary is great! We recommend if you’re in the area and feel the need for a pint.

This is a comfortable locals' pub, and is a rare example of a pub that retains a two-room format. The doors to the room on the corner lead you into what was originally a snug, but which has now been incorporated into what used to be the Public Bar.
