Over the past few years, The Old Mill has been given a new identity, keeping it’s rustic charm but also adding some modern touches. This is a Tripadvisor favourite with tourists seeking a Scottish experience but it’s also still a cosy ‘local’ for the village of Killearn.
Formerly a weaving mill, now a modern, rustic pub and restaurant within this charming 18th Century steading, complete with open fire!.
Cosy pub with excellent and refined food, super friendly staff! We went there for lunch on a Sunday and it was packed so you'd better book your table.
The service here is fantastic and the food was delicious.. We happened to drive by and decided to go in.. The added bonus was that our little dog Popcorn was allowed in as well..
Visited for a few meals last week with family. Excellent food, with some of the best steak I have had. Drinks are great too, and the atmosphere is cozy whilst being neither too formal or relaxed. A great place for good food and drink, I would recommend booking in advance, especially during tourist seasons. Thursday steak night has definitely been a hit for me, so I will be aiming to visit again soon!
Always get a great meal at the old mill. Went for a midweek lunch and sat in the yurt. The ribs were fabulous and the pork belly looked amazing . If you are looking for a cosy pub setting in a beautiful place then look no further than the old mill. Thanks.
Really excellent meal. Lamb and cod both brilliant, shared mussels as a starter too and was great. Best meal we had near Loch Lomond.
