Absolutely beautiful Sunday dinner. Old time pub. Walkers dogs food lovly place. Food served quick from when you ordered. Nice to go some where . Where you can eat and have dogs in also . Homely feel .
We were on holiday in the area and picked this pub to spend new years eve at. This was a locals village pub and the locals made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent! It was all home made and tasted amazing! They even had a local band on with songs everyone could sing along too. When we are next in the area, we will definitely be heading back here
Fantastic pub with a great selection of real ales kept in superb condition.
Visited after a walk around Oxton. Lovely bar with a great selection of beers on tap. Excellent friendly staff serving and were able to sit outside and make the most of the warm weather. Food menu looked great but only had a drink but hope to return at some point to try the food.
My brother , his wife and their dog were down from Liverpool, decided to bring them her as it is very dog friendly. The service, the food and the ambiance of the place was fabulous. I did however go home after devouring the sticky pudding feeling very full but not regretting it. Having only been for a drink before I'll definitely be back for a meal.
