Staff really good and friendly. My pasta dish was lovelly but the Tbone steak for my husband not brilliant. Disappointed to have received "maccy dees" fries with it instead of chunky steak cut chips especially as it was £25 for the steak. Good Irish coffee tho.
A real gem in Hull. The food is wonderful and the staff is both attentive and efficient. Asked for a special Italian dish (Putanesca) not on the menu, and they were delighted to prepare it for me. It came out perfect. My guests both had fish and they raved about it. If you like Italian, you will find no better place in Hull than at Paolo's.
We had a fantastic meal, we both had fish dishes and the fish was cooked beautiful and could tell it was very fresh! Would highly recommend. Service was brilliant and staff very friendly! Not expensive for such good quality food! You pay for what you get!!

Friendly and welcoming. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good table presentation. Trying hard to be upmarket but the quality of fish I had was disappointingly poor especially for a sea port! Dry with unrecognisable taste. Veg and mushrooms need to be cooked freshly and I suspect they were reheated. Would be easy to raise the standards and I hope they do because it has great potential. The food quality on this occasion didn't marry with the prices, unfortunately. 😕
