Just finished a four night stay. After reading the reviews I thought I would add my forepenneth! For the price it’s good value, the rooms are perfectly adequate and the shared bathrooom/shower was clean The evening meal that comes with the rate was lovely! Proper home cooked grub Yes it’s a locals pub….but all were perfectly friendly towards me and the owners/staff were very helpful There was a comment below about horrendous traffic noise…..it’s on a main road into Bristol, Google Map a location before you stay! Note…you are staying above a PUB so accept that there may be music and the odd sing song….by 11:15 every night is was quiet For the price and the fact you get fed and it’s family ran, it worked for me - will certainly come back thanks guys 😊
We only went for a 90th birthday party. The staff were lovely and helpful and the room and toilets were clean and tidy. Good time had by one and all.
I only popped in for a pint with some old friends on a lunchtime it was fairly quiet not many people there. There is a nice well kept but small garden. The girl behind the bar was very good.
