A large open-plan pub in a prominent position on Harrogate Road (A658). There is a large single room which has been divided into two, forming a dining area at one end and a drinking area containing the bar at the other. In the drinking area, there is a pool table, darts board and numerous large TV screens for showing sports. No real ale is sold at this establishment. The accommodation is popular with those working in the area. It is offered on a room and evening meal basis (no breakfast is provided).

Cracking meal, Sunday roast, well presented tasty great value food. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff, well catered for. Plenty of parking. Clean toilets
This is our regular local pub, food is good but it's not changed in years and the menu could do with a revamp tbh. They don't really have anything going on here so it'd be great if they did, but the pub is good value, nice staff and always a good atmosphere
3 of us visited today. We all had different dishes which arrived at the same time (always a good thing) and the food was piping hot. We had various meats/steaks which were cooked to perfection for us. We eat out every Wednesday afternoon and the "oddies" ranks with the best we have visited to date. Will we visit again? .....without doubt we will. Keep up the great work we really enjoyed our visit.
Took my daughter and granddaughter for lunch. My daughter had fish and chips. The fish was very large but a bit too greasy. My granddaughter had fajitas and loved it. The meat was served on a sizzling plate which attracted the attention of the diners on the next table. They all agreed it looked and smelled wonderful. I opted for the steak pie on the seniors menu. Was a bit disappointed as it was quite dry. Service was good and the waitress very pleasant and polite. Not a long wait time for the food to arrive.
Amazing food everytime, you usually have to book in advance, you get a good amount of food. Half price main with any starter, Jan, Feb, March, these are huge, (around £6). Meals £10+. You can get extra sauces if needed. I don't get a pudding, always to full just eating a main, but they are a good size.
