Founder and head honcho of Manchester’s longest running hip hop night Taste The Diff'rence
Noel Edge - MC and DJ; grew up in the vibrant hip hop scene of Leeds and after a hip hop crusade that took him to Melbourne, Los Angeles and New York, he finally decided to call Manchester his home and set about making his mark on the hip hop scene there.
Considered a “Manchester Marauder” alongside the likes of Mr Scruff, DJ Woody, Strategy, Dr Syntax, The Mouse Outfit, Mikey Don and Jon K.
Noel Edge has shared the stage with world class artists including Big Daddy Kane, Jeru the Damaja, DJ Format, Homeboy Sandman, GZA, Raekwon, Ugly Duckling, DJ Vadim, Akil (Jurassic 5), Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), Louis Logic, RA The Ruggedman, Del The Funky Homosapien, Blackalicious, Murs, Jehst, Large Professor, The Mouse Outfit, The Four Owls, Jam Baxter, Dirty Dike, DJ Qbert & Souls Of Mischief to name a few!
After a 10 year stint rocking boat parties at Soundwave Festival Croatia, he now holds down residencies at Applebum, The Yacht Week (Croatia/Greece), Jazzhop & Bring It All Back as well as DJing at the UK’s finest bars, clubs and festivals. Playing everything from funk, soul, disco, through to reggae, drum and bass and hip hop; he is more than capable of catering to any audience.
