I have put 5☆ for service only.I have been there before (for a drink only) my wife & I both find the public house extremely clean throughout & the Brewsters MARQUIS 5☆ for the beer,it's our type of beer..the only downside I found that not many people are in the pub WHY? also they don't seem to sell cobs to go with the crisps WHY again, but that won't stop me going back although it's a 36mile around journey.....

Called in for a drink Sunday afternoon after a good walk. Good choice of hand pumped beer, I only had one but it was very nice. Only one member of staff on but it wasn't busy and he was very pleasant and friendly
The Marquis is the best pub I know. Excellent beer, great staff, and good prices. As far as I'm concerned there is no downside to this pub and I am very picky! Everyone I meet there is friendly so the atmosphere is great. Long live the MOG!
Thursday Pizza night at the Marquis prepared by Pizza Pals. I have been lucky enough to eat pizza all over the world and have found that the best pizzas are made 1 mile from my house 😆 Nice pint whilst we were waiting 😁
