Absolutely lovely, service was great food was fantastic we had steak and fish and chips. No complaints, will be back next time I'm in area
We went on Sunday for lunch, Richard and his team are superb, we had the two courses deal, Pate and Prawn cocktail and a roast each(no carrots)with a couple of drinks and a tip it was around £50 which is excellent value. The food was lovely! We have been recommending the Fox at work for a couple of months now, we will now highly recommend a visit in the future. See you again soon.
Visited multiple times in recent months and I have now officially had every dish on the menu, with exception of the desserts. All the food is excellent, a very fair price for the quality provided. Lovely staff quiet but friendly atmosphere. Superb choice of ales and beers. Its how pubs used to be and how they should be, great service and value. Can't really fault anything. Also Sunday lunch, top notch!!
We recently visited their Fox Inn during a family holiday and could not fault it. We made a late booking on the Saturday afternoon for 14 people and they were able to accommodate us no problem. When we arrived, we were set up in the back and staff were very friendly. We ordered our drinks and food and asked if the kids meals could come out first which they were able to accommodate. The food was delicious, fresh and tasted so good, they were even able to do a scoop of ice cream with sauce for the kids whilst we ate our mains. The menu isn’t extensive but everything brilliant, cooked perfectly and there were no leftovers. My youngest son even asked if we could go back the next day. A lovely little place that’s definitely worth visiting again. Thanks so much to the staff and the team there, we really enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal in a great little pub.
Can't comment on the rooms and as we just nipped in for a meal while passing through, the service we received was first class, with Richard and his staff being very friendly and attentive. Our meal was a mixed bag, with more hits than misses, the big let down we're the chips, which sadly we're below average, but on the flip side, the steak and fish we had we're great, overall we enjoyed our visit and I would return or recommend if you were in the area.
