The distinctive listed building is maintained to the very highest standard both inside and out. Tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished throughout, the hotel comprises 20 spacious en-suite bedrooms including two Executive Rooms, all with en-suite facilities, colour television, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, telephone, ironing facilities and free wireless internet access. A delightful guest lounge is also available for the use of hotel visitors.
The hotel is centrally located with only a short walk to many of Scarborough’s attractions including the town centre, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Castle, Spa Complex, Futurist Theatre and Open Air Theatre.
Visited for a quiet game of pool with friends. Owner had replaced pool table with chairs. Bar man was helpful finding a place with a pool table
I visit this hotel at least once a month & sometimes more often, I regularly eat in their restaurant & bar, the food & service is always 1st class,their menus will suite all tastes, in my opinion, their location is very close to the town center & within walking distance for all ages to be able to access the sea front, I'm 85years old and have no trouble in visiting either of these sites.
Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were throughly cleaned and the breakfast had a good selection. The staff did their best to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
We saw how lovely the outside seating area was and decided to pop in for a drink. Unfortunately we won't be going back, the downstairs bar smelt unclean, there was a guy sat where people were eating their meal with a trainer off, and part of his toes were missing! He kept trying to interact with customers and us, but was just being a pest. We ordered cocktails.. expresso martinis ... Unfortunately they are out of a box , so we returned them when they arrived. It's a shame because the food looked nice and the hotel itself upstairs has always been really good in the past
Wonderful staff, brilliant location, lovely clean hotel, delicious food in the Bar and fab breakfast. Couldn’t ask for more. Regular visitor to the Crescent snd never disappointed. Highly recommend.
