Such a great location. Food isn't too bad. Good place to get your fish and chips when you're on the beach though.
Has this place been taken over? Has been lovely for years. Today took ages to cook and then both fish and fishcakes so overdone had to throw away. Oil gritty, needs changing. Will not go back again.
Fish and chips spot on. 3 small fish & chips and 3 drinks plus a couple of sauces £20. The staff are friendly, but don't seem overly happy. Bit of a blood from stone atmosphere. But still, us and the kids enjoyed getting the food and sitting on the wall looking out to the sea.
Must be getting old but £4.30 for just chips and a can of pop seems dear. Decent size portion, chips average. Lovely setting of Filey Bay of course.
Lovely sand beach that changes to rock pools when approaching Filey Brigg that stretches out into the sea. Safe beach for children. The part of the beach from the Coble Landing to the other end of the town is no dogs for the summer season. Outside of that area they are, so split space for dogs and no dogs - how it should always be imo. Good selection of retail outlets and things so see on the Coble Landing such as; life boat station (which you might be lucky to see a launch!), An arcade, fish&chips, shell fish/sea food, got and cold sandwiches, cakes and coffee. Since the last lockdown rules easing most the premesis now have outside seating available. Plus the mandatory gift shop where you can get rock, toys, buckets and spades, etc for your day on the beach or to take home for the coworkers. A definite place to visit if you're visiting Filey.
