Good experience all round, would recommend to all ages, dog friendly.
Great old fashioned pub, just as we like it. Good selection of ciders and ales. Popped in for lunch on the way to visit my son in his new house (Ring of Bells is his new local watering hole. Good food, we had quiche and chilli con carne ( nice and spicy). Car park at side of establishment which was tight on spaces but there is a fair bit of on street parking if required.
Inside the pub is a small traditional style pub. Old decor etc, decent selection of cold beverages. Outside there is a toddlers play area and another area for older children. But center stage is a covered outdoor section with a scaffold section in the middle, mounting 3 large televisions. (On this occasion football was being watched, possibly the FA cup?) There is 1 bunch outside of the covered area, thankfully this table was free as i had zero interest in the football or sitting in the shade staring at a TV on a beautiful summers day. There was no atmosphere and I stayed for just 1 drink before leaving. Not my cup of tea. Ps, parking was horrific.
good quality tasty food, big beer garden and when we visited they had a bbq going on in the garden. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.
Great pub, very friendly staff, good choice of drinks, amazing food, check out Di's Pies and the pizza. 🌟Update🌟 they now do Raclett! And it's amazing. You need to book this in advance though.
