Excellent cheap drinks and lovely homemade food in a friendly atmosphere
It was quite quiet . We watched a game or snooker whilst drinking a local selection ale. The staff was friendly and welcoming, maybe I came on the wrong night as there is plenty of room for bands and snooker competitions. Overall going to come back on a weekend night see the difference.
A pub/club run for the community and supporting our veterans. The atmosphere is great here and the building is well maintained, clean and presentable. When our family is in a better position and has the time to go out, we will be renewing our membership here.
Went there for Wednesday carvery by Dewey's. Excellent carvery at a reasonable price. Drinks were from the United Services bar at a very reasonable price. All staff on both sides were very efficient and friendly. The doorman signing us in was very helpful. Will definitely be going back again. Well done all round.
