Great atmosphere at the social night
Good selection of beers, well priced and good craic.
Great Pub and lovely people. I was on my way home on the cycle track from Beamish to Washington in the dark and when it rained I couldn’t see a thing through my glasses so I diverted off the track to Newfield and phoned international rescue (my dear wife) to come and pick me up. I called in to the Newfield Inn while I was waiting, had a lovely pint of Double Maxim and a great chat with everyone. I wish I had a local pub like this near us. When the wife turned up I didn’t want to go home and she couldn’t come in because she had her nightie and slippers on. We’ll be back😀 Cheers everyone.
First time visiting this pub and received a warm, friendly welcome from the staff and locals. Landlord and landlady Mark and Gail were absolutely lovely. Lush homemade pies too. Would definitely go again.
Village local with most football matches shown. Simple well run pub for adults, but dogs and kids are welcome. Great landlord and bar staff. Friendly.

A Social Club with Bar/Lounge/Function Room and Beer Garden. Serving cheap drinks and bar snacks. Weekly entertainment including Live acts, Social nights, Bingo and quiz. Facilities include large pool table, darts, dominos and cards. We are dog friendly.
