We had the most delicious Sunday roast here, 7 adults and 4 children. The food was hot, delicious and plenty of it. Service was lovely, beautiful old pub with the fire roaring, pure stunning. We will definitely be returning regularly.
Such friendly helpful place to eat. Looking at the menu there was nothing I could eat due to my food intolerances. They made me a gorgeous tagine which was delicious. Great selection of gins and great beer. Welcomed the dog as well which was a big bonus as we were in a holiday cottage so we couldn’t leave him at home. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.
We were looking for a place to eat after a nice hike up Pen Y Fan, on our way back to our Air B&B, but were struggling as it was bank holiday - so glad we found this place! Nice and quiet, food was great and service was excellent! Got to sit with our dog outside but were told we could sit inside with her if we wanted - definitely recommend if you’re passing through 👍🏻
Great locals' pub which sells good food and has lovely, friendly staff. They catered for my brother's wake and did a fabulous job. A great, independent village pub.
Good to find a traditional village pub that is totally unspoilt. If you've booked for a meal here unsighted, don't be put off by first appearances when you walk through the door as the food is wonderful, especially the Sunday roast. The rhubarb crumble is cosmic. Service is excellent.
