Amazing atmosphere.. Staff are kind caring and friendly.. Highly recommended to stop in say hi to the guys and have a drink or two on your way past...
Friendly Staff, good atmosphere. Nice little local pub.
No Hobgoblin was on tap the night I visited. Cannot understand, because the brewery is around the corner. Had Doombar and other nice real ales. Under new management. Very pleasant, nice atmosphere, snug. Had a good band on and a good crowd.
Old English pub known for traditional warm welcome. For sometime now under new management. Now Monday to Friday 4pm to 7pm Happy Hours. Doom Bar, Wainwright, Side Pocket only £3.00 (normally £3.8), and much more. Stop here on the way to or back from the town and check out yourself. Dog and biker ;) friendly. Some parking spaces available on the back.
Seen this pub under so many managers. The ones who were there when I was there, I believe still are, have made this warm and friendly. More impressively not just friendly to regulars, I was a total stranger and both the staff and the clientele treated me as if I had come in there frequently. 👍 Great work guys!
