New year 2024 plenty of flooding but the staff went out of there way to make sure we could continue on our return journey avoiding all flood's and worked out a route for use which was very successful New years celebrations here are worthwhile even if it means walking miles in the rain led by about 30 drummers starting at 10pm ending at about 3am the next day
We had a great new year eves at the Neuadd Arms, they couldn't have been more hospitable. The room was dated and the ensuite was very small but the friendly atmosphere, good food, fantastic party and great welcoming atmosphere from the locals made this an excellent stay, many thanks!
Quirky, friendly and wonderful! An amazing hotel with great host and that rare thing, a bar without blaring music. We had a magical time here and would recommend to anyone who enjoys really genuine friendly service, fantastic food and sweet and comfortable bedrooms. The three dogs were a bonus!
So outdated is an understatement, the only friendly staff were at breakfast. Overpriced evening meals and terrible ales. Toilet,shower room with no catch on the door and the worst shower I've seen. Messed up my booking arrangements and tried to blame me, luckily I had proof on my phone. Fair to say we won't be back.
This is a quirky hotel with lovely staff. But the rooms are dated and below modern expectations. Good bar. Tasty breakfast and reasonably priced meals. We have been a few times and the quirky charm is running a bit thin as you can stay in a larger town with a better room nearby for a similar or lower price. We're looking at other locations for future bookings.
