The Naval & Military Club is set on the cliff top, a short walk from buses & trains. Open to all, its a friendly and welcoming club with lots of entertainment. Join now as members to enjoy privileged rates at the bar and for events

You are welcome to join us on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and sample the wares of our bar and kitchen.

The Naval & Military Social Club was formed in 1920 by veterans of the First World War, as a place to socialise and support each other following their experiences in the 'Great War' but as the years have passed those original members are no longer with us. However their values of mutual support in a relaxing atmosphere still form one of the principles that underlies the running of this social club.

We welcome all members of the community not just serving and ex-service personnel and their families; indeed anyone who wishes to enjoy the friendly atmosphere in one of the town's oldest social clubs.

We are located at No 20 Royal Terrace, overlooking the estuary and just along from the junction of Southend High Street and Pier Hill, heading towards Westcliff.

For details of our opening times please click on the link for 'News'. Please feel free to visit - might I suggest Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 12.30 pm and on Friday and Saturday evenings from 8 pm when we have entertainment organised or for a delicious Sunday lunch.
