The Nags Head pub provides the perfect location to entertain, relax and forget the stresses of modern life, combining a central Walthamstow location, on Orford Road, with a picturesque walled garden situated within the Walthamstow Village conservation are
The Nags Head is a quirky cat loving pub, so expect to see one of our feline friends wandering around the bar looking for some attention. It is great whether you fancy some quiet time to read the paper, or meet up with a group of friends. There is live Jazz every Sunday afternoon from 5.30pm with our resident band "The Stowaways"
The garden is a little haven away from it all with trees draped in fairy lights and heaters available for the more chilly nights. Children are not permitted inside the pub, but are more than welcome in our heated garden to the rear
until 7:30pm.
For drink we offer a wide selection of real ales, lagers, wines and everything you would expect to see in a traditional pub and much more.
Food is now available from our new Italian burger pop-up Baggio Burger, pizzas are also available and so is Sunday roast by Waltham Roast.

Great community pub. Good selection of beers. Cocktails too. Yet to try the food but looks good. No children policy quite refreshing (though they can sit outside front of pub before 7:30pm)
What a delightful pub. I felt I was deep in the countryside. After a tour round Walthamstow ending at this pub I'd move there tomorrow! Great pizzas. Super 70s decorations. A charming beer garden. Lovely regulars. A chilled out cat. What's not to just love!
Love the Nag's. It is my favourite pub in the area and I come here regularly. It's great for a quiet or big night, the garden is lovely, the interior cosy. I love the fact that it's cat and dog free. The no children policy is great for a quiet weekend drink in the beer garden. The bar staff and landlady are delightful. While the food is delicious, I would love a slightly more versatile menu. The pizzas and burgers are very good, but too many places in the area are doing the same thing.
Great local pub with excellent pizza. We had four different pizzas and enjoyed them all. Thin crust, high quality ingredients and overall a hit with everyone in the family. Good selection of beers on tap and nice benches out front for those who prefer to eat outside. Enjoyed the two cats and the fox that came by while I was waiting for my pizza.
Super friendly staff, really chilled atmosphere and great pizzas. Throw in the love of cats, Henry for example, and you've got an amazing place to hang out. Would definitely recommend, and go again 😁
