Muro Lounge in Hexham is a home-from-home, offering delicious food and drinks, all day, on your doorstep. We exist to bring people together and our unique atmosphere changes hour by hour with each new wave of customers. We are proud of our Lounge and its community, and our aim is simple: every customer leaves happy.
We serve a wide range of food and drinks – we even have our very own gluten-free and vegan menu. We have board games for big and small guests, toys for the really wee ones, and even refreshments for our canine guests. Old or young, big or small – just pop along and we’ll look after you!

Absolutely great 👍 food was lovely and such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were spot on . We took our two small dogs in with us water and treats were brought over so kind . We will be back thank you guys x
Outstanding customer service from all members of staff. First time visiting today and will definitely be going back. The food was delicious with a great and varied choice on the menu. Although it was very busy we were served quickly.
Nice atmosphere, interesting interior design and great service. The menu was vast so was sceptical about quality but it came fresh, tasty and well prepared. Appreciated the 0% drinks range. Particularly liked the feature lighting and it’s very photogenic! Being dog friendly earns a star too. Puzzled as to why they don’t allow a tag on Instagram but thought to review here. I’d definitely go back.
Really atmospheric, stylish new place in Hexham, a great addition to the town! We've visited the cafe a few times and were impressed during each visit. Really great style, music, service and of course the food. Keep it up!
Visited for lunch today, only open a few days and the place was packed but seems to turn over tables quickly and we got a table within a couple of minutes. We had a salad and shakshuka accompanied by a pint of Hoffmiester and a Plum Porter. Main staff were friendly and excellent, one of the new servers was obviously still finding their feet but were helped out to provide great service. Looking forward to visiting regularly.
