So I came with my partner and we stayed a night, we arrived very late and left early before it became bright, so I couldn’t get a picture of the exterior in daylight but overall it was okay. We stayed on the top floor, which I highly recommend as it was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean. I recommend it for a short stay.
Ordered a soup and it was spice for someone who break their fast. I love spicy but they happily changed the soup. 👍 Very friendly people n if you like pubs and Thai food, this place is brilliant.
Stayed here whilst on a night out. Nice pub, clean rooms and friendly staff. Small free car park and very good value compared to the main hotel chains. Will definitely stay again. Pub downstairs had a good selection of beers. Local drinkers made you feel welcome and not out of place. Cheers guys.
Stayed here one night on a music tour and I cannot fault the room I had or the staff. Certainly good value compared with mainstream hotels. I wish I'd known about it before as I have been working in Birmingham for twelve years and occasionally get stuck overnight, especially in winter or with train problems. The only slight downside is that it's about a twenty minute walk from the centre. The immediate area is a little run down but tolerable if you want practicality.
It is very close to Birmingham center and you can reach anywhere you want by bus. The staff are very friendly. I chose this hotel because it was very close to where I would have a meeting, and I came by reading the reviews, but I was disappointed. Hot water wasn't working and I couldn't take a shower for 2 days. I just had to wash my head under cold water and then I got sick. Hearing noise from other rooms, not having an elevator, and enter the building with a password from the back door when we enter the building at night are disadvantages, but I really don't care about these. Lack of hot water is more important than all of the things I mentioned. If they had told me this when I arrived, I would have gone to another hotel. On the second day, the employees told me that the problem would be solved in the afternoon, but there was the same problem in the evening. Maybe it was my luck that happened this way, I don't know. But in the end, no one could solve the problem. Never again!
