What more can I say, the food was great, the service was friendly and efficient. Just what I have come to expect from this excellent chain of pubs! Just wish you'd open some up on 'The Wirral'!
As a treat we went to The Morning Star for a meal and a drink. I can honestly say that the Vegan curry we ate was delicious and couldn't fault it. We were though, a bit put out that the amount of food left us feeling 'had'. This has to be the first time I have ever had a meal out and on arriving home, rifled the cupboard for snacks. Other people were enjoying full plates of food, which all looked amazing, but not Vegan. I understand that there isn't going to be an extensive menu for Vegan food, but feel that there should have been more on my plate for the price we paid. I would like to point out that the staff were great, the atmosphere was great and the drinks are reasonably priced.
Great Sunday dinner really good value for money. Decent selection of drinks. Worth booking ahead if you can as gets busy
