Loved this pub. Food was great and our food requests were met with a great response. The staff were wonderful especially the young Welsh lady who was in charge that night and the young waiter on his first evening working. Will definitely visit again. Shout out to the kitchen staff as well 👍
If you are looking for price for value restaurant in Notting Hill London. You shouldn’t miss it. Atmosphere is warm and friendly, food is delicious and good presentation, recommended dishes are pork starter and octopus main dish. Although there are limited choice on wine list but many other sprites are available. Service is friendly and attentive.
Went for Sunday roast and absolutely enjoyed it. As with other reviews the service was a bit inexperienced but we found our server to be fun and hard working at making our evening a joy. Had the chicken and beef roast and they both hit the mark. But the winner of the evening was the toffee pudding caramel dessert, best ever and left me wanting more. If I lived here it would be a Sunday ritual.
Absolutely loved it! Great location, fantastic service from Samantha and the team. We visited The Mitre on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered Sunday roast (lamb, beef and pork) Food was delicious! The portions are very generous. This place is worth a visit. We will definitely be going back!!
Had an excellent experience last weekend, so much so we returned the next day! The food choices and quality was excellent, over the two meals we tried the chicken liver pate, charcuterie board, beef dripping chips, salmon tartar, pressed lamb belly and fish and chips. Not a bad meal anywhere, and we thoroughly enjoyed the salmon tartar, lamb belly with amazing brocoli puree, and the chicken liver pate. But above the food, our service from Garron, was what made our experiences exceptional. His great personality and ability to handle picky customers' requests with ease and the perfectly judged level of sarcasm made our meals the most memorable part of our visit to London. Highly recommend a visit, and if you get Garron, you're in good hands!
