Welcome to The Minerva Inn. A warm welcome awaits you from Martin and his staff who took over The Minerva in June 2007.
The Minerva is situated in Looe Street, in the Barbican area of Plymouth, located close to the town centre and bus station.
The pub holds live music nights 3 times a week and a Jam night every Thursday, which is free for all budding musicians to sharpen their strings, whistles or vocal chords! Why not pop along on a Monday night and try the weekly quiz?.
Fantastic little pub. Doesn't do fancy, just simple drinks and a cosy atmosphere. Regular events and music add to the character
Stunning historic pub with great beers, exceptional staff and everything else. Needs to be visited and enjoyed.
The Minera Inn is the oldest Pub in Plymouth. Circa 1540. It is one of the most friendly Pubs I have ever known and l consider myself very lucky that it is within walking distance of my home. It is a small Pub with local regular friendly well spoken customers and not too noisy. They have live music nights three times a week and a Jam night every Thursday, which is free for all budding musicians to sharpen their strings, whistles or vocal chords They have Real Ale and a Cider on Pull and an open fire to sit by in Winter.
Great old pub/inn with a bit of history. Great place to meet and chat with locals. Plenty of drink choices and great service. What more can you ask for? Manage to find a slot on the ceiling to catch my own name there.
Very old and atmospheric interior, everyone seems to have signed the ceiling which is unusual . Friendly staff and mix of old + young people here . Open music sessions Beer is good. Nothing to dislike and lots to like !
