We had a lovely and welcome stop at The Miners Arms whilst doing the Cambrian Way. Jan prepared the most delicious meal and even had a birthday cake prepared complete with candle for one of my sons! The bedrooms were comfy and a big breakfast set us on our way. We will return. I just hope our next crossing of Wales on a bike is not quite so wet but, that may be a little wistful....

Passed through here while bikepacking. They weren't open but more then happy to fill up my water bottles and give some recommended routes! Much appreciated especially with how hot it was! Thank you!

We went for sunday dinner here. I can easily say the best sunday dinner I had in Wales. Meat was juicy, delicious gravy, i can't fault it at all. I never eat stuffing, but even the stuffing was fantastic. The service was fast, and bar lady was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Its also a dog friendly pub. Personally i find Wales to be terrible for customer service & quality of food, but not this place. Absolutely loved it. Will be back again. Thank you.

Living within a few miles and planning a day at the Elan Valley we called at 7.30 to ask if we could stop for breakfast. We said we could be there for 8.30. Arrived on the dot and a warm welcome from the owner. Breakfast was 2 eggs 2 rashers sausage beans tomato with toast and tea or coffee. Excellent and tasty. Good value for money. Very friendly couple who obviously care about their guests and business. Will return for a Sunday lunch soon. Thanks for accommodating us at short notice.

Had an overnight stay for work purpose, if you enjoy the quiet then this place will definitely appeal, it's in a small village set in one of mid Wales valleys. Surrounded by trees, the first thing you notice is the clean fresh air of the village, if your feeling energetic then there is plenty of steep gradients to climb or taking your bike on a trek. The rooms here are spacious and decorated to a high standard, beds that you sink into that are clean and well furnished. The owner is very welcoming and chatty, like someone you have known for years. Will definitely stay again as soon as I can, recommend this B & B to anyone.
