Visited at lunch time today after walking around Carsington. We turned up on spec. Very friendly welcome from all staff. Really enjoyed sandwich and a burger. Open fire added an additional bonus on a cold day. A busy pub but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Highly recommended. Thank you to the staff.
Welcomed as we walked in. We were only planning on having a pint but the food looked so nice we decided to have a pizza as well. Lovely atmosphere, good sized pizza, polite staff. Will definitely be going back.

Another gem of the British countryside, just a short 350m walk off the carsington waters path, you will find this hidden beauty of a pub, dogs and muddy boots are welcome. The food was nice but a little overpriced.
