Christmas Eve carvery for all the family. They catered for both large and small appetites as well as standard sizes. Super welcoming management and staff, all in the Christmas spirit. Beautifully decorated for the festive season and we weren't rushed to finish and leave like some other establishments do. Food (carvery) was fabulous...plentiful and hot. Choice of turkey or beef plus all the main veg/gravy. Can't fault and will return. One tip...Maybe off the option of paying for a Christmas cracker per head next Christmas weekend? Excellent buffet although we went there for a funeral. Staff were brilliant and very understanding would highly recommend. Very clean and tidy and made to feel at home. Thanks all at the Millers
Cozy nice decorated pub. The beer (coor) on tap was warm and so was the heineken from the fridge. While ordering you could here someone throwing smth and swearing from the kitchen. We waited 45min for our food, only 4-5 other guests. The burger was really disappointing. It was nnot made there it was a chewy hard factory burger, the cheese was a big hard lump, the burger sauce was missing, the chips were tasteless and floury. My daughter's garlic chicken was tasteless, the sauce just cream and the same sas chips. The coleslaw was dry on top. Although we were very hungry, we could not eat the food. No one came to ask if the food was ok, so for the first time in my life I took the food back and asked for half the money back. The waiter took the food to the kitchen, from which loud angry screams began to be heard. The waiter came back and looked distressed, returned some of the money. The staff probably tried their best but were not professionals, the chef seems to hate his job was scary and rude. I have never seen anything like this, wouldn't go back.
Met a friend for a Sunday dinner - the carvery was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Staff were very helpful and polite. Definitely comes with a high recommendation from me!
Such a lovely place, so glad this has reopened, the refurb is amazing, feels so warm.and homely. The staff and owners are so polite and friendly and the homemade food was amazing!! Sorry about the photos, we just started to tuck in before they were taken lol. Definitely would recommend again and again. 😃👍🥂
