It's the people over the place. Flick (the landlord) you couldn't meet a better guy. Looks out for everyone and fantastic for any footy matches. Just a great place to be at when I get the chance. Unfortunately management is changing hands or the pub may close (05/08/2023). Will be a shame if this place closes so I hope someone continues it's operation.
A very warm and friendly atmosphere, kids and dogs welcome and a fantastic view of the canal. A good bunch of regulars and despite previous comments the landlord is not a con artist, far from it

Very run down pub,staff customers really friendly. Sat outside pub was beautiful day.
Cheap boozer. Nice beer garden. Inside is a bit dated though could do with a lick of paint. Signage from billy is a little bit off putting and unwelcoming for kids and even adults to be honest. Need to maybe change it.
