Had a wonderful experience in the Merchant. Had a delightful family dinner, would recommend to any family with kids as the kids menu was great value. Fab Fab Fab!! Drinks were great and service was excellent we were served by Katie and enjoyed chatting with her. Will definitely be back again.
Big bar. Lots of tables. Sports on quite a few TVs. Good selection of lagers etc. Not so many ales. Service was quick even though it was very busy.
Food is pretty good and reasonable prices. Festive Vegan burger was really good. Highly recommend the cookie apple pie. It is a bit too noise, even for a pub. Services could improve a bit, as it takes a bit to get food and last time attendant insisted something was not in the menu, even thought it was.
This place was absolutely buzzing the first time we went in. There was some event going on upstairs, and the people were really giving it loads noise wise. The prices were fine and the atmosphere was great as well. Some people were eating, and they seemed to be enjoying the food. Service was quick and efficient, they also had loads of football on the different screens. This place is a must for a starting point if you're having a drink in Glasgow. We loved it so much we went back a couple of times, well done.
Seats are very comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts are the best in the area. Potato scones, black pudding, toast, beans, mushrooms, two eggs, for £6.91. After 12ish it goes upto an all day breakfast at £8.50. Coffee mocha is £2.99, but can tell the difference in quality. Worth it. Good for entertainment aswell. They have like 10 tvs with all different sports. Can't fault this place for enjoying your break from work.
