The food was good but not as described on the menu. Staff rushed off their feet and confused. 4 of us at the table 3 had finished food before other arrived. 2 dip and cluck no cheese or gravy. Eton Mess no meringue and nothing like one on the next table. After Eight dessert substituted with dark chocolate. These issues were all brought to the attention of staff but we felt so sorry for them as only young and not their fault so said we would just eat what we had been given.

We'd asked for a quiet table, they offered us a quiet table in the corner or gave us other choices which was great, the food came in good time, piping hot and it was lovely, a great meal. I'd looked through local menus before booking and Meadowlark had the most appetising menu and it didn't disappoint.

Staff are very friendly. Food is cheap. Good offers.would recommended Burgers ,they are always tasty. Was not very impressed by the chicken fajitas sizzling meal. But the chicken nachos are amazing. Everything was clean and staff are attentive.

Three of us visited the Meadowlark for late lunch on Saturday 15th of July at 3:30. This ‘Sizzling’ branded pub / restaurant is in a purpose-built, relatively modern building on the edge of a residential estate. The premises are open plan and nicely decorated although signs of wear are evident in some places. On our arrival all unoccupied tables had been cleared ready for guests arriving. Cleanliness is good. The menu provides a reasonable choice of food and there is a good selection of hot and cold drinks available at the bar. It is a family pub / restaurant and at the time of our visit there seemed more children than adults, some of whom were being allowed to run riot. We ordered at the bar, rather than through the app, and we were quickly served by a friendly member of staff. Drinks were prepared immediately to carry back to our table, although they were almost knocked from my hand by unruly children. The food was brought to our table within 20 minutes of ordering and was nicely prepared. Food is typical chain pub fayre (frozen chips etc). We ordered sizzling rump steak, double hunter’s chicken and fish & chips. Two of the dishes were good value for money, although the fish & chips were disappointing (thin fish / dry chips). Overall, this is a pretty good family pub / restaurant with efficient, friendly service and reasonable food at a generally fair price. If you don’t mind eating in the middle of a playground I would recommend it. If you want a quiet or romantic meal I would give it a miss. We would probably return but avoid ordering the fish & chips.

Absolutely beautiful food Mac and cheese was gorgeous, could of ate at all over again. Had to have a desert this time but could finish it. Didnt know which to choose Had to drop my stars. Not so good this visit. 2 medium rare steaks came charcoaled and unchewable same with the chicken on the mixed grill. And for a burger with no sauce and got suace. No-one came to ask if us if our was ok. Finally called someone over when they appeared by this point we had picked and what we could and didn't want replacements. 2 deserts was given to compensate.
