Great local pub. Really friendly service and fantastic food. Rabbit pie was tasty, as were fish and veggie options. Plenty of parking round the back and good beer choice to. Harvey's was kept impeccably.
Lovely country pub and great food and service! Great value for money !
What a cracking village pub, a hidden away gem, well worth a visit. Excellent menu and a good choice of ales. Lovely garden and plenty of parking.
We've visited a few times over the last couple of years when visiting family and have always had a good meal. Sunday lunches are excellent, and I'm always happy to find Gypsy Tart on the menu! We went back to the Maypole this week after a funeral. The buffet was all very good, staff great and on hand to help if anything was needed. It was the perfect venue for the family gathering. Thank you to everyone at The Maypole.
I've always loved The Maypole. It is a great pub which has a nice garden for the summer and is nice and cosy inside for the colder months. It is located in a lovely village location which is ideal for walks or as a stop off point whilst cycling around the countryside. The food and drink is of a high standard and is well priced and the staff are also very friendly. All the necessary Covid-19 measures are in place with plenty of sanitizer, space between tables and it's also nice and clean meaning you can easily relax and enjoy yourself.
