Megan was lovely and accommodating. Food was cooked well, but the ingredients supplied to the chef are not the most desired. Chef did well. Very quiet with nothing really going on. Could be time off day and day off the week

It's a Hungry Horse, good food, great portions with great value. On the night that we were there, at no fault of the restaurant I may add; kids were running around like Tasmanian devils, very difficult to enjoy a family dinner with objects being thrown and wrestling matches at the end of the table! Well done to the blonde staff member that put them in their place, the parents sure didn't!

Steak night and a delicious rump for me! We all had the same steak with different sides. Yum. The food is much improved in recent months. Service was quick, tasty and piping hot. We have our monthly book club here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Very reasonable prices and offers on most days. There is a good selection of meals and lighter bites to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our last meal and it was so filling we couldn't even finish it. Staff were very friendly and there is plenty of free parking.

Thought we would try a family meal here as we hadnt been for a few years and wanted to try somewhere different for a change to our usual family "go to" Upon arriving we tried to find a free table however EVERY table that wasnt occupied either had dirty plates or glasses on them. We hung around for around 5 mins hoping someone would come to us to clear a space but this didnt happen and I eventually took it upon myself to clear one table onto another and went to ask for a cloth at the bar to clean the table. This was happily given to me without so much as an offer to get a member of staff to do it. At this point I maybe should have seen the signs and left but I didnt I cleaned the tables and browsed the menu while my partner went to the bar for drinks. There is a tiled area around the bar which was extremely slippery and very hazardous but had no signs to state this ! We placed our order and waited , and waited some more food wasnt served for some 45 mins which I wouldnt complain about had we been advised of wait times. There was a pub quiz odue to start , it was only midweek and around 7.45pm so rush hour for tea I Imagine had been and gone judging by the state of the empty tables. There were very few diners in as most tables were there for the quiz and only having drinks so I cant understand why it took so long for the food. My daughters veggie sticks arrived and looked like they had been hacked at, she was given a salsa dip instead of the humous it should have come with. Our mains then arrived and looked shocking , my little girls pasta was dried out and had a blob of sauce dropped on the top which had a thumb print in and her corn cob was freezing cold, my 8oz smothered steak was smothered in fresh air and by this point I just wanted to leave. I had already complained for wait times and couldbt be bothered at this point to have another moan. We ate part of our meal and left. It was not good at all and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The carpets were sticky and wall / ceiling had large patches of water damage and cracks and looked awful all in all very off putting. Stick to our regular family "go to" in future
