Master McGraths Restaurant and Lounge Bar has been welcoming customers since 1992. Under the ownership and personal direction of Jim and Trudy Sines, our business continues to flourish. We have built our reputation on the traditional values of integrity, a warm welcome, personal service, inspired menus and the finest produce.
McGrath's menu offers amazing variety. Chef Frank Burrell has drawn on a lifetimes experience (and he’s no spring chicken!) to showcase his culinary expertise, sourcing of fine, local ingredients, team leadership and his ingenuity for menu planning and organisation.
We have very long and very loyal working partnerships with our suppliers, and with six daily deliveries every week we are able to offer the freshest fish, shellfish, meat and vegetables available.

Sunday lunch for two family members birthdays. The food was excellent starters where a good size and serve well presented mains the same one had the fish an chips gluten free and said she really enjoyed it as she struggled getting it elsewhere the other birthday girl had the venison and pheasant casserole and loved it also, staff where attentive nothing a problem for them really enjoyed our visit. A very friendly welcoming restaurant good decor nice and cosy with great food thank you
Food was lovely, great dinner with an absolutely amazing chocolate fondant for dessert. It was a cold day but did seem a little chilly inside & people had coats on!! WiFi was also very patchy, but you probably didn't need to be distracted from the food really, it was only as I was trying to follow the football!
Not been for awhile - and the wife fancied it. Im disappointed on reflection - food tasted excellent - my gripe is the quantity . Opted for the Mushroom stroganoff with added fillet steak (+£5) on an already £15 dish . Lucky - if there were 2 mushrooms in the dish, and I got a whole 3 pieces of fillet steak in it, too. 6 green beens and a pot of rice . Had I known I was having finedining sized portions, I would have had a starter ! We also waited 20 mins for our order to be took-surprised as it wasn't over busy . Used to be spot on here - good prices -good sized portions, but like a Mars bar, its size has shrunk whilst prices rise.Wifes meal wasn't much better and again £20 I'm sure the owner will defend it ! Shame really - we used to enjoy it here-but I won't be back again .
Had are wedding meal here on 16th September and was absolutely fantastic. They did us proud nothing was to much trouble and made the day very special. Thank you to all the team at Master McGraths.
I stopped here for lunch yesterday. Atlantic prawn cocktail followed by king prawn languini with rocket and chilli, which was pleasantly spicy, and a bottle of bubbles. The staff member was very attentive and professional and the food was gorgeous. I'll definitely return.
