Wonderful place. We arrived a little early but still the super friendly staff had our room ready. They upgraded us to a superior room, which is still a pinch small, but felt new and very efficiently designed. Super clean. The whole facility seems spotless. We ordered room service in the evening and the Pizza was delicious, the Cheese fries were amazing and even the creme brulee was wonderful. The next day had the breakfast buffet, and it is beautifully laid out and had everything you would want. Clean buffet and delicious food. The restaurant, and front desk, staff are all amazing. Looking forward to coming back here next week!
I stayed with my family for one night at the Courtyard Marriott for my wife's and daughters birthday's. Upon arrival at the Hotel we were greeted by reception staff and were welcoming and very helpful assisting us with check-in and any questions we had for our stay. Bedrooms were clean and well presented with typical amenities you come to expect from a hotel room. House keeping couldn't of done any more than they did in making our rooms look and feel magical for my wife's and daughters birthday stay. Breakfast was well stocked with fresh hot and cold food. With friendly staff welcoming you and assisting with any dietary requirement s you may have. Location: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Bedrooms: 10/10 Room Cleanliness: 10/10 Room Comfort: 10/10 Breakfast selection: 10/10 I couldn't rate our stay and experience any more than I have. A solid 10 out of 10 all round. We look forward to returning to the Courtyard Marriott soon.
Unfortunately, I will give one star for the woman working at the reception. She does not have a tactful manner with customers and speaks in a very rude way, both in terms of language and facial expressions. I managed to control myself to avoid getting into trouble with her. However, the hotel's location is very good, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I hope the hotel manager will ensure that more tactful individuals are assigned to interact with customers.
Great location if you are flying to/from London City Airport. The rooms are nice and clean. Very spacious. The rooms are quiet despite being very close to the airport. Good price. The lights in the room are good. Nice desk space. I stayed there for two nights. I didn't like the fact that they only provided complementary water on arrival. They should replenish the water bottles when they clean the rooms. The tv was good but the channels freeze from time to time. I also think they could give a bit more toiletries. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel and I will probably stay there again.
Unfortunately a bad overall stay due to the staff and service. The location from city airport is fantastic and is a short walk between both the DLR station and the Airport. Rooms were nice and clean. Our towels had stains on them unfortunately which let the room score down. The service however at the bar and restaurant was slow and I have been billed for 3 3 course meals despite having one, this bill came through after I was assured that it has been sorted. Get the basics right please because the location and the physical amenities are fantastic. Despite me also emailing the hotel I have still been charged over £100 falsely, do not leave a credit card for a deposit.
