We visited on Saturday when they had the beer festival, specialising in dark beers. We saw Morris Dancing and my husband sampled a few of the beers. Really friendly welcome, the landlady really cared about the pub and her customers. We understand many of the beers are made by the landlord. We will be back, especially if the pub gets Bass beer! Throughly recommend 👌
Great choice of real ales. Brews on site as well as buying in from other brewers. Passionate about serving a good pint. Real fire in winter and a warm welcome any time of the year.
Excellent. Wonderful selection of top class, locally produced beer.
Want well-kept beer and a full pint? Well, this is the pub to visit! John and Janice have really put some effort into the March Hare and I have always found a warm welcome from the pair of them.
Fantastic old school boozer, with thoroughly charming staff, a magnificent range of excellent (and rarely seen) real ales from IPAs to porters and a decent quiz on Sunday nights. If you like a CAMRA pub, you'll love this pub.
