Then top it all off with a wee drop of the good stuff in our cosy Whisky Snug or a classic cocktail in the exuberant Malbar. It's just how you roll.
We have stayed here a couple of times and have loved it! The rooms are all lovely and spacious, with modern bathrooms, like most hotels the rooms could do with better lighting for ladies who want to do their make up, however there is a small mirror in the bathroom which can be moved if required. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, and the bar staff are very attentive, and were more than happy to go off menu to make my favourite cocktail when requested. Breakfast was also AMAZING! Such great produce and good portion sizes, the only thing I would have liked more of was toast. There was 4 of us and we were only given 1 triangle slice each, but that was only a very minor issue. The only real issue we encountered was at the fault of another resident. It was a busy Saturday night that we came to stay, so the car park was very busy, with only a couple of parking spaces left when we arrived. The only space which was big enough for my husband’s car was next to what I can confidently say was the WORST parking I have ever seen, and that’s a hard title to earn in Aberdeen 🤣 I suggest maybe asking guests with their own vehicles to provide REG details on their check in forms, so the owners can be tracked down and asked to politely move their vehicle into the allocated spaces to allow parking for other guests. Will definitely be back!
Here for a meal on New Years Eve. Meals are great. I had Ox Cheeks, my friend Surf & Turf. They do a good range of Steaks. Restaurant Prices but food is good. Staff pleasant but at times over busy.
We had the Slains suite over hogmanay for a couple of nights. Really impressive room and facilities. Room wasn't ready upon arrival but we were given two free drinks then in the room within 40mins, so not too bad. Staff couldn't be nicer, I had an issue with a fan/vibration noise throughout the stay. The staff apologised and told me there are workmen due out, plus suites will be upgraded soon...although really nice as they are so we'll return once they are refreshed. Enjoyed listening to the boats sounding their horns at the bells, standing on the balcony. Restaurant food and breakfast great quality too. Once again staff really fab!
Had a lovely afternoon for three ladies yesterday. We had hour long massages which were glorious! Nikki took such great care of us. We were warmly welcomed and felt so relaxed from start to finish. We waited for our treatments in the relaxation room (complete with massage chairs) and were presented with herbal teas after our treatments. I have to say, I’ve had a lot of massages in my life but this was up there with the best! Thank you so much Nikki. We will definitely be back. 🥰
I recently had the pleasure of staying two nights at the Malmaison in Aberdeen. The entire experience was exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the ambiance exuded luxury and warmth. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making my stay feel personal and special. The room was immaculate, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities, ensuring a restful sleep. Dining in their in-house restaurant was a delightful experience, with a delicious array of dishes that celebrated local cuisine. The location proved to be perfect, giving easy access to the city's attractions. All in all, a memorable stay and I can't wait to return
