Cold beer ,nice staff, and it didn't break the bank.Another Wetherspoons off my list and a nice afternoon spent with my husband. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.
I am always down for a Weatherspoons for lovely cheap food and drinks with or without children. I am currently hooked on the butter chicken burger, and my kids love fish and chips. Less than £30 to feed a family of 4, and everyone is filled up and happy. Great staff, too! A daytime drink when kids are at school is bliss.
I went out for brunch with an amazing friend and he suggested this location and we had great time too. Very crowded if you don’t like that setting this may not be a great option but it’s not so bad. Just very busy
It's hard to really be negative because you get what you pay for and the prices are very reasonable. It's obviously not going to be Michelin star food and it's mainly processed food but for the price you pay it's very good portions and quite tasty. The venue during the day is really welcome, love the app service as don't even need to venture and queue at the bar. Fast service. Good music selection too. Toilets are big and cleaned regularly. Really good drinks selection.
As a general, I absolutely love wetherspoons, and it's a fact that some are better than others. The Lord Wilson was great. However, there were numerous things that , if tweaked, would make it amazing. First of all, the food was amazing, and the speed it came out of the kitchen was outstanding. Let's just say my one year old niece approved. However, when we entered the building, first of all, there was a load of tables which were either dirty or needed plates removing. The table we sat on was the cleanest of them all, and we still needed to wipe the table with a baby wipe. The walls and floor are full of scuff marks, and just general wear and tear, where all they need is a little attention to rectify. Also, where our table was, you could see where they put their empty glasses, which were all stacked. In general, the cleanliness could be improved, but the food and general service was okay.
