Sometimes pubs like these are overlooked because of how many there are and often serve similar fare, but Duke of Wellington had some wonderful homemade options. I had the carrot and orange soup with herb croutons and the bavette steak. The steak was better than some of the others I've had in expensive steakhouses as of recent! We had a couple mix-ups while at the pub. My steak didn't come out with the rest of the table's meals, but the staff kept checking and got it out as fast as possible. They even offered us a drink on the house. The gesture was super kind and shows good business. Now to the drinks...I had the pineapple daiquiri x2 and this was a very good choice. I loved it! Overall, my experience was fantastic and I will without a doubt return! Don't miss this cozy spot in Notting Hill!
One of the best places I’ve been to! We celebrated an early Christmas dinner with family and friends and were served by the lovely Michael. He accommodated our group throughout the evening and his service was 100/10!! Made our dinner so much more fun and comfortable! The food and atmosphere was beyond beautiful! Would highly recommend this place! (BEST ROAST DINNER)
The pub looks just great. The moment you step in you feel the coziness and warmth. The pints are also very welcoming. I ate the battered haddock and honestly it was not to my taste. It was mediocre. But the vegetarian sharer Platter was great said my wife.
Nice food, also comes in big portions. Had the venison pie (5 stars) and the fish and chips (very tasty). Worth a visit if hungry or in need to rest while in Notting Hill.
I've been at The Duke of Wellington with a friend few days ago, we tried to order by app but we had troubles so one of the boys at the bar helped us, he was so kind and friendly. The haddock was delicious, one of the best fish and chips ever! The place is awesome, I really recommend it! I will definitely return the next time
