Good beer selection. Lovely little place with warm atmosphere and quirky vintage decor. We caught a brilliant musician from Bristol playing on a Wednesday evening. We didn't eat because we arrived post 9 pm. Really recommend and will visit again.
Hand of Glory is one of my locals. Good spot with fast service, don't think I've ever had to wait more than thirty seconds to be served here and I've been on weekend evenings a few times. Nice vibes inside, plenty of tables all close together but you never feel like you're intruding on someone elses crew or being intruded on. Loads of tables outside too. Some interesting stylistic choices, like theres a modern progressive movement overlaid on a hunting cabin. Rainbow flags next to a display of old bullet boxes etc. Haven't eaten here yet but I've seen food being served and it looks good.
Great vibes and very good music after 9pm! The food however was abysmal. Kudos for the (only) chef to serve it on time, but the quality of the ingredients was just bad. You guys have such a lovely place, make it perfect!
Delighted to see food making a come at the hand of glory. Went in last week and really enjoyed their new pizzas and curly fries. The atmosphere was cosy and vibrant as usual. Will try to come back more often.
Lovely staff and atmosphere! Music! Candles! Classic style! So relaxing! Sunday roast 🥰 just had the chicken, it was hot and delicious! Proper portion ! Missed the stuffing though 😅 Definitely a must visit
