The Little Green Dragon Ale House in Winchmore Hill is Enfield’s first “micropub”. Our aim is to provide somewhere the local community can meet each other for a drink and a chat.
No loud music, no TV, no slot machines. But we do have board games, table skittles, shove ha’penny, and each other to talk to – all novelties in this day and age!
Our main focus is on the quality and diversity of real ales, sourced from local microbreweries and other independent brewers from further afield. We have a frequently changing selection of 4 real ales, served directly from the cask. We also offer real ciders, gins, wine, prosecco and soft drinks.
We’re too small to have a restaurant, but we do have a selection of crisps and other traditional bar snacks to complement your drink. Try our pickled eggs!
If this sounds like your kind of place then why not pay us a visit. Remember that our selection of cask ales and ciders is constantly changing. To receive updates on the beer list and any future events planned, please follow us on Facebook or Twitter using the links provided.
We are family-friendly; children are welcome during daytime hours if accompanied by their parents. However, we are not allowed to have under 18’s on the premises after 6pm.

My brother and sister-in-law have just moved into the area and we happened by the Little Green Dragon 🐉. What a lovely pub selling cask and keg ales, ciders and a few spirits. I would write this as high as the Thomas Tallis in Canterbury, for customer service and a well kept cellar. We will be regulars. ____________________________ Back again, and it still remains. A lovely, lovely pub 🍻
Great small pub. Great selection of cask and craft beers at reasonable prices. Beers changed regularly and include unusual ones. Also good cider and perry and some spirits
Lovely micro pub. Very small and a place for the locals so seats are scarce unless you're willing to share tables. Staff are wonderfully friendly and a charming beer garden.
Best pub in London bar none. Richard and co could not be more accommodating and friendly. Very glad to say this is my 'local' even if it is a couple of miles from my house. Well worth the trip every time. Glad to see it is so busy as this is entirely deserved. Good and eclectic in a good sense seating both inside and out. Beer is superbly kept and the range is first class. Lovely also when there is music on. Simply brilliant!
Lovely little place though it can get packed as it does serve decent high quality real ales - key keg and cask. There is cider, canned drinks and some snacks to choose from. The bonus here is a bus display board letting you know exactly what buses are due which is very helpful. Check first for opening hours so you are not disappointed
