The Linny never fails to serve delicious food. Despite making a late booking two weeks ago, when the restaurant was very full, we were still made to feel welcome. The food was excellent! Thank you.
We had our first visit yesterday and I must say I wished we had found the linny sooner. The roast beef was amazing, both my daughter and partner also enjoyed their roast dinner. Will definitely be returning.
Really lovely pub, but not enough parking for all customers, food was delicious and reasonably priced for such good quality cuisine. Wine was lovely but eye wateringly expensive. Do I recommend this place? You bet..
Loved it. Wish I was in the main dining area but we had a larger number and someone's gotta sit out the back I suppose. Food was yummy. Service was great. Altho our waiter did describe something incorrect to how it arrived but they quickly apologised and brought extra mash when asked. Nothing was a trouble it made you feel. Really recommend this place. Book well ahead.
Visited this lovely restaurant with friends who had used it many times before and was not disappointed. Food was fabulous, service was excellent all freshly produce on the day and home made. I had to the rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection, the fish pie was excellent with large pieces of fish and very tasty and excellent portion sizes the desserts were also very good. I Would highly recommend this gem to anybody who is looking for quality fresh food in a lovely setting.

This single bar pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and is very much a local. In the 19th-century, the pub is recorded as being a 'Beerhouse' owned by William Mortimore, who also owned the village's brewery and 9 other pubs.
