A really nice countryside restaurant with quality food choices for meat eaters. Not much equivalent for vegan type diets though. Great spirit selection to choose from too
Lovely pub, great food, however the lady serving made us feel like we were an inconvenience, with eye rolling, shame as we’re quite local but obviously not a local enough!
Booked this for my daughters 18th birthday meal with family from Wiltshire. Asked on booking if they allowed dogs & then actually on the day rang to double check time of booking & again ask if dogs were allowed. Basically turned away on arrival as we had the dog with us as we had been set a table in the restaurant where dogs weren’t allowed (which was 1 step up from the bar area & was open)! Asked if we could sit anywhere else & were told there were no tables other than 2 high ones where we couldn’t all sit together. There was no attempt to help or even to try to accommodate us in any way! Wouldn’t go ever again. Fortunately the Dambusters Inn about 3 miles away in Scampton were incredibly friendly, welcoming & accommodating (to the dog as well as us!) & the food was fantastic.
Fantastic Sunday lunch on our travels to Lincoln for the night. Cooked to perfection and generous portions 👌
A wonderful pub on the corner of the village green in Ingham with a good selection of firm pub favourites (from fish and chips, burger and curry). The staff were lovely, attentive and welcoming and the food was really good too. 2 starters, 2 main courses, glass of wine and coke £42 excluding tip. Certainly well above average pub food and worth a visit if you’re near by!
